Itinerary highlights
Northern Spain or Green Spain is for many an unknown oasis in this dry and sunny country. Basque Country, La Rioja, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia offer is an unknown and untouched region, far from the tourist resorts of the Mediterranean. In northern Spain, you can find landscapes that make you think of Ireland, the Alps or in some cases, even in New Zealand. The fact that the food and wine are among the best in the world is of course another good reason to come and experience the region. This program begins in San Sebastian, a city open to the sea and the world thanks to its international film or jazz festivals, its exquisite cuisine and its urban chic. The last day in The Basque country we spend in Bilbao. You will get to know its history, the most emblematic parts of the town, the Guggenheim museum and of course the different gastronomic options it has to offer. Cantabria is one of the smaller autonomous regions of Spain (5.300km ²), and perhaps one of the least known outside our borders. However, it is one of the most beautiful and interesting regions for its variety of landscapes and its human and artistic values. The Camino de Santiago has a deep meaning in European history as one of the first cultural backbone of the continent. The discovery of the tomb of the first apostle martyr, meant the birth of a reference point for of different peoples and the Christian society. Today the Way is a growing tourist attraction and may sometimes be perceived as almost too crowded. But along the way there are still some gems if you manage to slip away a couple of miles of the route. We’ll take you to these jewels. This Basque  Camino de Santiago bus tour offers you all this and more…
